GeoConcepts, Inc. provides geology and geotechnical (soils) reports for new single family residences developments, room additions, swimming pools, spas, decks, tennis courts, (hillside and flatland), residential tracts, commercial properties, multi-family residences, subdivisions as well as other developments.
GeoConcepts, Inc. offers a wide range of services including: geologic and geotechnical (soils) exploration reports, seismic investigations, slope stability analysis, fault investigations, geologic feasibility studies, geotechnical (soils) testing, liquefaction analysis, distress evaluation, retaining wall investigations, percolation/infiltration testing, monitoring well installations, bluff retreat evaluations, manometer surveys, geologic opinion reports (for properties in escrow), private sewage system evaluation and reports for on-site wastewater treatment systems.
During the construction phase of development GeoConcepts, Inc. is able to provide trained and experienced field technicians to provide grading control and density testing (sand cone & nuclear gauge). Field observations include footings, friction piles, caissons, keyways, temporary excavations and shoring. Our field technicians are registered as ICC Soils Special Inspectors and LADBS Deputy Grading Inspectors. GeoConcepts, Inc. is also proud to offer storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) inspections using our Qualified SWPPP Developer & Practitioner (QSD) to aid in implementing and maintaining compliance with the SWPPP from the initial grading to the final landscaping of a project.
