Raffi Dermendjian joined the GeoConcepts team in July 2014 after graduating from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Raffi is currently enrolled in the graduate program at UC Irvine’s Henry Samueli School of Engineering studying Environmental Engineering. His applicable coursework includes geotechnical analysis, geotechnical lab testing procedures, surface-water hydrology, groundwater hydrology, groundwater quality, and groundwater flow analysis. He has performed data analysis, slope-stability analysis, liquefaction analysis, soil laboratory testing, bearing capacity calculations, lateral earth pressure calculations, pile calculations, report compilation, and flatland site exploration. He is fluent in Armenian and English.
